Join us for a holistic weekend of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and vegetarian/semi-organic cooking as a way of moving into spring with the right foot forward.
Spring is traditionally seen as a time of new beginnings and offers us an excellent chance to re-align with who we really are and to develop greater health and success in our relationships, jobs, and spiritual practice.
The Silver Falls Spring Wellness Retreat is designed for anyone new to yoga and meditation (beginners), anyone of intermediate, or anyone simply looking to spend some retreat time out in nature. The weekend includes a blend of gentle and flow yoga classes, yoga nidra (‘yogic sleep’), mindfulness walks, and Zen meditation alongside wholesome vegetarian meals. All of this takes place fully immersed within the lush and beautiful Silver Falls Parks environment.
We promise that it will deeply nourish and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit on many levels.
The Silver Falls New Year’s Wellness Retreat is designed for anyone new to yoga and meditation (beginners) or for anyone of intermediate ability.
Pricing and Accommodation Options
There is a choice between single occupancy ($545) and double occupancy ($395). Double occupancy means you will room with one other person (at the cost of $395 per person). These prices include 6 wholesome vegetarian meals, two night’s accommodation and the entire 3-day Spring Wellness Retreat.
Yoga and Meditation Instructor Bio
Matt Shinkai Kane has been instructing yoga,meditation, and mindfulness in Japan and the West for many years. His teaching style integrates what he learned in his 7 years living in East Asia and emphasizes the importance of being relaxed, grounded and awake. Shinkai is the lead teacher of the Blue Cliff Zen Center in Eugene, Oregon which is dedicated to offering everyday people with yoga classes, mindfulness courses, and a Zen meditation group; he leads retreats, trainings, and workshops all around Oregon.
