Join us for a weekend of Zen activities centered around nourishing your core and roots. The winter is the most inward time of the year, and potentially one of great nourishment. It's associated with hibernation, conserving, and storing. We’ll spend time working with practices that help you to do this energetically. This can effectively set you up for a strong, grounded, energized year ahead.

Date: Saturday, February 3 from 9am - 5pm. At Big Bear Retreat Center in Walton, Oregon. Sliding Scale: $35-$95. The wood stoves will be burning!

Seasonal Meditation Days are a wonderful chance to ground, refresh, and nourish your life and meditation practice. Please bring a pair of hiking boots and a packed lunch.

Dates: Thursday, March 14 (7pm) - Sunday, March 17 (3pm). Online. Led by Shinkai.

Our Breakthrough to Zen Retreats are based on the Zenways 3-day (64 hour). We focus on contemplation and communication within dyads. This creates a uniquely powerful combination and is effective for people in getting a genuine shift into the world of awakening. This retreat is suitable for those with no prior meditation experience and is also effective for those who already have an on-going/developing practice. The structure of the retreat is tailored towards you touching into the deeper dimensions of your true nature.

Dates: Friday, April 12 (6:30pm) - Sunday, April 14 (3pm). A retreat focused on transitioning into the spring season. Non-residential.

Join us for a holistic weekend of Zen yoga, Zen meditation, energy work, and mindful hiking as a way of moving through the end of winter and into spring on the right foot. As the winter comes to a close the ice begins to melt: not just outside in nature but inside us too. Spring is traditionally seen as a time of new beginnings and offers us an wonderful chance to re-align with who we really are and to develop greater health and success in our relationships, jobs, and spiritual practice. There are many specific practices within the Zen tradition that help this melting process along.

This workshop will deeply nourish and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.

Join us for a weekend of Zen activities centered around letting go. The fall season is a wonderful time for allowing your internal leaves to fall away and for blending with something bigger. We’ll spend time working with practices that help you to do this including meditation, Zen yoga, energy cultivation practices, fostering balance within your inner organ community, Zen Jin Shin, and time spent outside. We'll also look at practices from Mark Westmoquette's book "The Mindful Universe."

This retreat will help you to align in a clear and healthy way with the fall season and lay the foundation for a nourishing start to the winter.
